Feud between Joe Perry and Steven Tyler
Is it just media hype?
In September, 2009, Steven Tyler unexpectedly jumps up on the stage during  Joe Perry Project performance.  Perry's singer was a German fellow by the name of Hagan. Hagan was on stage when Tyler appeared. Tyler was angry with Perry at the time. He made some sarcastic remarks, ignored Hagan, and told Perry he was going to sing Walk This Way. Watch the drama............

Same event: Different angle, better sound

Later, Joe was interviewed (below) about the incident. I don't think Perry is as angry with Tyler as Tyler is with him. I think Tyler is still pissed off about the fact that when he fell off the stage August, 2009 in Sturgis, North Dakota, broke his shoulder and injured his head and was in the hospital 27 weeks, no one in the band came to see him. Why this happened, I don't know at this point, but I intend to find out and post it here

Aerosmith Returns to the Stage This Fall
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Legends Bring Their Unforgettable Live Show To Latin America

Aerosmith 2011 South America TourAmerica’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band, Aerosmith, will bring their one of a kind live show to Latin America this fall. The tour kicks off October 22nd in Lima, Peru. Presale tickets will go on sale May 24th and 25th for the fan club. General tickets will go on sale May 26th. The band first played in Latin America in 1977 and last year’s electrifying tour through South America left fans begging for more.

Frontman Steven Tyler says of the upcoming tour, “I'm looking forward to sweating up a storm with the crazy Latin American fans."

"The band is so excited to play for our Latin American fans. We didn’t think we would be back so soon. Every gig we play there is always a special one,” says guitarist Joe Perry of their return.

"We had a fantastic time when we toured South America in 2010 and are looking forward to seeing our amazing and passionate fans across Latin America when we return later this year," adds bassist Tom Hamilton.

Rock icons for over 30 years, Aerosmith’s music spans generations while its members remain as dynamic and innovative as they were when the band first began. As four time Grammy winners, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees (2001), recipients of 12 MTV Music Video Awards, and countless other awards, Aerosmith shows no sign of slowing down performing memorable sold out shows around the world for decades as well as selling over 150 million albums. Blazing past the trends and fads of rock and roll, the band has created their own unique place in rock history as one of the most powerful forces in popular music.

Johnnie Depp and Steven Tyler may collaborate on songwriting

Johnny Depp has always enjoyed working on some odd projects, but his latest endeavor may be his strangest yet -- working on songs with 'Idol' judge and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

"We've been hanging out here and there," Depp told Extra (via MSN). "He's someone I've admired greatly for such a long time. The idea of writing songs with him is a dream come true."

The pairing isn't totally out of left field. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor's roots in rock 'n' roll go back to early 1993, when Depp joined Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes to form the band P. He has since performed with the Kids and Brit band Babybird.

According to the Boston Herald, Depp recently announced that he would like to play the enigmatic lead character of Aerosmith in a biopic. "I would give it a shot, why not?" Check out Depp rocking out -- cigarette in his hand -- while playing the bass below

  1. Thanks, Steve. I'm still working on this site so don't really want it to go public yet.
